LEGO Star Wars 2027 Cloud City minifigures could make waves

Rumour of a new LEGO Star Wars Cloud City model next year could mean big things for the market value of the last set's exclusive minifigures.

75494 Cloud City is one of the latest LEGO Star Wars sets to be rumoured for next year, said to be coming next April but with no word on price or piece count. It's likely that any future Cloud City model would be smaller than its last release, though. 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City features 2,812 pieces for £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99.

Lando, Han and Leia's minifigures are the most expensive on the secondary market, all based on their Cloud City outfits. A new Cloud City set would stand to include updated minifigures of these outfits, theoretically impacting the prices of those from 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City.

The parts of these minifigures that likely raise their values include Lando's double-sided cape, Han's dual-moulded legs and Leia's printed dress legs. Anything other than a big-budget UCS LEGO Star Wars model may not include such refined details.

Should any minifigures in the rumoured 75494 Cloud City follow suit, the prices of these three exclusive minifigures in 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City may only become more desirable, and more valuable.
