LEGO Star Wars 75378 BARC Speeder Escape revealed

An Amazon listing for 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV has revealed the first look at 75378 BARC Speeder Escape and its new minifigure.

Amazon UK’s listing for 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV has an image-based feature about the other 25th-anniversary LEGO Star Wars sets including our first look at the rumoured 75378 BARC Speeder Escape. While the box image is somewhat blurred, the main shots of the set are good enough to make out some specific details but there is still no official word on the piece count or price.

The set features a new Kelleran Beq minifigure based on the Order 66 purge escape scene in The Mandalorian Season 3 as well as what seems to be the same Grogu and a pair of 501st Clone Troopers that we’ve seen previously.

The highlight of the minifigure selection is undoubtedly Kelleran Beq and he’s likely to be exclusive to this set unless we’re to receive Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge models in the future. The models in the build include the BARC Speeder complete with a sidecar as the main build as well as a decorative lamp post to represent Coruscant.

The last time we saw a BARC Speeder with a sidecar in a LEGO Star Wars set was in 2013’s 75012 BARC Speeder with Sidecar. 75378 BARC Speeder Escape is rumoured to cost $29.99 / €29.99 and include 221 pieces for release in May but Amazon has confirmed none of these details. Take the rumoured information with caution for now.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
