LEGO Star Wars Celebration 2025 plans include designer interviews

More LEGO Star Wars plans have been confirmed for Star Wars Celebration 2025, including designer interviews and a LEGO-related panel.

With less than a week remaining until the highly anticipated Star Wars Celebration event for 2025, more LEGO news for the event has surfaced online, offering some extra incentive to book a trip to Japan (or follow along online).

The team at Jedi News have confirmed that they’ll be hosting several panels at Star Wars Celebration next week, specifically at the LEGO Star Wars booth. These will include interviews with LEGO Star Wars designers, question and answer sessions and more.

The official website’s panel schedule has no section for the LEGO Star Wars booth at the time of writing, so attendees may have to be flexible at the event should they wish to see the designer interviews. Looking through the full panel schedule, though, there is a LEGO-related panel for fans to keep in mind.

I’m your father – Vintage Star Wars toys vs. LEGO Star Wars will be hosted by Swedish collector and collectible book author Mattias Rendahl, and his son Elliot. The panel will feature discussion between the two as well as comparisons of vintage Star Wars toys with LEGO Star Wars items, including rare Japanese pieces from both.

It’s the only distinctly LEGO panel in the schedule so far, and with less than a week to go until Star Wars Celebration 2025, don’t expect many more changes. We at least know that there will be a lot happening at the LEGO Star Wars booth, as well as an exclusive gift-with-purchase. That’s on top of the May the 4th livestream happening next week before the event kicks off, too.

Star Wars Celebration 2025 takes place next week from April 18 to 20. Stay tuned for any LEGO Star Wars or regular Star Wars news that is all but certain to come from the event.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
