Every LEGO Star Wars set confirmed and rumoured for 2024 – January update

Fresh rumours have given us a full picture of the LEGO Star Wars slate in 2024, so here’s everything we know so far about the theme from a galaxy far, far away in its 25th anniversary year.

Just three LEGO Star Wars sets have arrived on shelves in 2024 so far, as the LEGO Group continues to water down its January slate in favour of bumper March and May release windows. That’s the pattern the theme has followed for the past few years, and looks sure to be the case as it turns a quarter of a century old. And while neither of the sets released so far explicitly acknowledges the 25th anniversary, you can bet the team has big plans for the occasion.

That’s what the rumour mill says is on the cards, anyway. Among this year’s LEGO Star Wars sets are said to be a fully-fledged line of midi-scale ships, the return of fan-favourite scenes and locations, and some super-obscure minifigures scattered throughout the line-up. Check out all the rumoured details we have so far on the full 2024 slate below, assembled from sources including Promobricks, Max Börnicke and 1414falconfan.

Remember that (save for the three sets already revealed) these are all just rumours for the moment, though, so should be treated lightly until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group.

30680 AAT

Price: TBC Pieces: 74 Release date: January 1, 2024

This year’s first LEGO Star Wars polybag revisits a Phantom Menace staple in 30680 AAT. For the past few years, these polybags have accompanied larger versions of the same vehicle – so could that mean a bigger Trade Federation AAT is on the cards for this year too? It’s been a minute since the last one, but there are no obvious gaps for it in the current rumour list.

30685 [Polybag]

Price: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2024

A second LEGO Star Wars polybag is said to be on the way in May, and with one eye on the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, could we be looking at a new minifigure? That was the approach the team took for the 20th anniversary in 2019 with 30624 Obi-Wan Kenobi, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility. Fingers crossed for something new and unusual.

40675 Commander Cody

Price: $9.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2024

We’ve had minifigure Commander Cody, yes. And buildable figure Commander Cody. And even Commander Cody in helmet form! But so far, no BrickHeadz Commander Cody. That could be about to change, as 40675 is rumoured to adapt everyone’s favourite orange-tinted Clone Trooper Commander to the LEGO Group’s blocky statuette template.

40676 [The Phantom Menace BrickHeadz]

Price: $54.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2024

The other LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz pack for 2023 is said to include four different characters hooked to The Phantom Menace, celebrating the first prequel movie’s 25th anniversary in the same way 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes tapped into Return of the Jedi’s 40th anniversary. Battle of Naboo Heroes, anyone? It’s Jar Jar or bust.

40686 [GWP]

Qualifying spend: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2024

There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes and LEGO Star Wars May the 4th gifts-with-purchase. What this year’s might be is anyone’s guess at this stage, but the response to 2022’s 40531 Lars Family Homestead Kitchen will hopefully inspire the LEGO Group to come up with another minifigure-scale vignette, if only as a vehicle to deliver a much-requested character. But last year’s 40591 Death Star II was pretty cool too…

75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack

Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 215 Release date: January 1, 2024

One of two LEGO Star Wars sets to arrive on shelves on January 1, 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack brings back two long-forgotten minifigures: plain Phase II Clone Troopers and Super Battle Droids, which were last seen in 2014 and 2015 respectively. A coming together of battle packs from years past, this supersized minifigure pack is out now for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. You’ll probably want more than one.

75373 Mandalorian vs. Super Commando Battle Pack

Price: $19.99 Pieces: 109 Release date: June 1, 2024

This year’s second LEGO Star Wars battle pack is said to be based on The Mandalorian, and will reportedly include Koska Reeves, a Nite Owl Mandalorian and two Mandalorian Super Commandos. The LEGO Group has gone full ham on Mandos over the past few years, and 75373 Mandalorian vs. Super Commando Battle Pack should help to bulk out our minifigure collections even further. Although that depends how many Koska Reeves duplicates you want…

75374 Skeleton Crew Ship

Price: $129.99 / €139.99 Pieces: 1,325 Release date: January 1, 2024

Delays to the Disney+ series Skeleton Crew have had a knock-on effect for its rumoured tie-in LEGO set, which was originally slated to arrive in January. The tentatively-titled 75374 Skeleton Crew Ship is currently pencilled in for a June release – so says the rumour mill – but even that doesn’t feel like a lock at this point, with reports swirling that the live-action Star Wars take on The Goonies could end up debuting as late as November 2024.

75375 Millennium Falcon

Price: $79.99 / €84.99 Pieces: 921 Release date: March 1, 2024

It looks like last year’s 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer was just the LEGO Star Wars team testing the waters for a fully-fledged return of midi-scale ships, as no fewer than three different models are said to be joining the range in 2024. The first of those is thought to be 75375 Millennium Falcon, because of course the franchise’s most iconic freighter was going to be part of the line-up. We’re expecting a more refined design than 2009’s 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon (pictured above).

75376 Tantive IV

Price: $69.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 654 Release date: March 1, 2024

Also on the midi-scale slate for 2024 is 75376 Tantive IV, another classic original trilogy ship that we’ve seen at various scales over the years. This would be its first punt at midi-scale, though, so it will be interesting to see how the LEGO Star Wars design team approaches the ship formerly known as the Rebel Blockade Runner. These midi-scale sets are not expected to come with any minifigures.

75377 Invisible Hand

Price: $52.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 502 Release date: March 1, 2024

While we had to wait several years for the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection – which appears to be done and dusted – to embrace the prequel trilogy, the midi-scale range is apparently already turning to Revenge of the Sith with 75377 Invisible Hand. The smallest and cheapest of the three midi-scale sets on the cards for this year, General Grievous’s flagship is said to split in two, mimicking its fate during the Battle of Coruscant.

75378 BARC Speeder Escape

Price: $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 221 Release date: May 2024

The first of a handful of LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 3 2024 sets, 75378 BARC Speeder Escape is reportedly based on the flashback sequence that saw Ahmed Best’s Jedi Master Kelleran Beq rescue Grogu from the Jedi Temple. It’s said to include both of those characters alongside a pair of 501st Legion Clone Troopers. If those are standard soldiers, it will be their first return to shelves since 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers retired in 2022.

75379 R2-D2

Price: $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,050 Release date: March 1, 2024

75308 R2-D2 is still alive and kicking, but the LEGO Group is apparently gearing up to introduce a build at roughly half the size and price of that 18+ set. This one will presumably be friendlier to younger audiences, though what exactly it could look like has yet to be divulged – could this be a large-scale build of the LEGO minifigure, chunky proportions and all?

Either way, 75379 R2-D2 is said to include minifigures of both Artoo and Knights of the Old Republic’s Darth Malak, the latter joining the fray as a 25th-anniversary character.

75380 Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama

Price: $69.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 718 Release date: May 2024

The first LEGO Star Wars diorama based on the prequel trilogy is rumoured to be hooked to The Phantom Menace, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. 75380 Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama is likely to come in at microscale, mirroring the approach of 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama, but that’s pure speculation at this point. This is currently the only diorama rumoured for this year.

75381 Droideka

Price: $59.99 / €64.99 Pieces: 583 Release date: May 2024

The LEGO Group’s collection of buildable Star Wars droids will reportedly extend to two more characters in 2024, the first of which is 75381 Droideka. Coming in at a surprisingly affordable $59.99, this one could really go either way – will 583 pieces be enough to make for a detailed replica of the rolling ball droid? And, more importantly, will it actually be able to fold up and roll? The jury’s out for now…

75382 TIE Interceptor

Price: $239.99 / €239.99 Pieces: 1,931 Release date: May 2024

Episode I’s 25th birthday apparently isn’t a good enough cause to justify devoting an Ultimate Collector Series set to the 1999 movie, and so 2024’s first UCS model is rumoured to be 75382 TIE Interceptor. This would be yet another remake for those keeping track at home, although one more than two decades in the making, so a little easier to accept than 75355 X-wing Starfighter. It’s expected to occupy the standard May the 4th $239.99 price point.

75383 Sith Infiltrator

Price: $69.99 Pieces: 640 Release date: May 2024

The LEGO Star Wars team’s mission to downsize iconic ships – thus making them more affordable – looks set to continue with 75383 Sith Infiltrator, which is rumoured to be $20 cheaper than the 2015 version. On the other hand, it’s said to contain only 22 fewer pieces, so we could be looking at something comparable in size but much better value. Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Padmé Amidala and Captain Panaka are all reported to be in the box.

75384 The Crimson Firehawk

Price: £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 136 Release date: January 1, 2024

The only other LEGO Star Wars set to arrive in January, 75384 The Crimson Firehawk is a 4+ set based on the Disney+ animated series Young Jedi Adventures. Despite a couple of cool minifigures, it’s one for only the youngest of builders – even if the price tag suggests otherwise…

75385 Battle on Peridea

Price: $49.99 Pieces: 382 Release date: August 1, 2024

If the initial wave of Star Wars: Ahsoka LEGO sets had you hungry for more minifigures from the show’s later episodes, 75385 Battle on Peridea should be a Michelin-star meal. The 382-piece set is rumoured to include Ahsoka in her white outfit, Ezra Bridger, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch and Morgan Elsbeth (with a new face print), acting like a who’s-who of must-have (and missing) characters. No word yet on the build, but you’re probably going to buy it anyway.

75386 Mandalorian Imperial Bunker

Price: $39.99 Pieces: 289 Release date: June 1, 2024

Another The Mandalorian Season 3 set rumoured to arrive in June, 75386 Mandalorian Imperial Bunker will apparently recreate Moff Gideon’s hideout on Mandalore, and is shaping up to be a real coup for minifigure collectors. The $39.99 set is slated to include Moff Gideon in his beskar armour, Paz Vizsla – who returns from the retired 75319 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge – and two Praetorian Guards.

75387 Tantive IV Hallway

Price: $54.99 / €54.99 Pieces: 502 Release date: March 1, 2024

Once rumoured to be a diorama, 75387 Tantive IV Hallway is now thought to be closer to the style and approach of 75324 Dark Trooper Attack: a buildable corridor littered with minifigures. This is reportedly a bigger and more expansive take on the concept, though, packing in Darth Vader, Captain Antilles, two Stormtroopers and two Rebel Troopers. It’s also said to include Clone Trooper Fives as a bonus 25th-anniversary minifigure. Not bad for $54.99.

75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter

Price: $39.99 Pieces: 310 Release date: August 1, 2024

The LEGO Star Wars line-up is apparently getting weird and wonderful come August, as the LEGO Group prepares to lean fully into its 25th anniversary celebrations. Case in point: anonymous yet legendary character Jedi Bob is said to be getting his own set in 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter. Tell us you predicted that and we won’t believe you.

The anonymous minifigure is rumoured to be yellow just like his original design, and will reportedly arrive alongside one other character in the 310-piece set.

75389 Dark Millennium Falcon

Price: $169.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: August 1, 2024

Remember what we were just saying about weird and wonderful? See also 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon, which the rumour mill says is an ‘evil’ version of the iconic freighter, complete with a cast of characters that have spilled out from the dark side of the force. Among the line-up are Dark Rey, evil C-3PO (with a black arm), evil Chewbacca, a Gungan in a blue outfit (Darth Jar Jar?), a mystery minifigure and Infinities Darth Vader (in white armour).

It sounds too wacky to be true, which means it probably is.

75390 X-wing Pilot Luke Mech

Price: $15.99 Pieces: 195 Release date: June 1, 2024

The LEGO Group is seemingly refusing to be locked into its Star Wars subthemes in 2024, first through a lack of dioramas, and now through just one mech. Last year’s trio of dark-side mechs will allegedly be followed up by 75390 X-wing Pilot Luke Mech in June, which we’ll only be satisfied with if it has four deployable S-foils on its back.

75391 Captain Rex’s Y-wing Microfighter

Price: $12.99 Pieces: 99 Release date: June 1, 2024

Can’t stretch to 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, but really want to add Captain Rex to your collection? Good news: the very same minifigure (printed arms and all) is said to be coming in 75391 Captain Rex’s Y-wing Microfighter, a set that’s due to retail for just $12.99. Score one for accessible characters.

75392 TBC

Price: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: TBC

Very little is known about 75392 at the moment, but rumours suggest that it will include young Princess Leia from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series as a 25th-anniversary minifigure. Beyond that titbit, it’s thought to perhaps be some sort of creature build, perhaps associated with live-action series The Acolyte, but those details are all very much up in the air for the time being…

75393 X-wing and TIE Fighter

Price: $109.99 Pieces: 1,058 Release date: August 1, 2024

2021’s X-wing and TIE Fighter retired at the end of 2023, all but ensuring we’d see new versions on shelves in 2024 (these are perennial icons that the LEGO Star Wars team hopes to always have available). The twist this time is that they’re apparently returning as a double-pack in 75393 X-wing and TIE Fighter, and you’ll be able to swap their wings around for an X-Fighter and TIE-wing, if you so choose. Look out for an X-wing Pilot, TIE Pilot, astromech droid and two more minifigures.

75394 Death Star Conference Room

Price: $79.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: TBC

75394 Death Star Conference Room will reportedly devote an entire set to an area of the battle station that’s only ever appeared as part of a larger model (such as 75159 Death Star), and in doing so perhaps create one of the most boring LEGO Death Star sets ever. (It’s just a table.) The minifigure line-up is said to include Darth Vader and up to five or six more characters, along with a 25th-anniversary minifigure in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Cal Kestis.

75395 Star Wars Advent Calendar

Price: $44.99 Pieces: 368 Release date: September 1, 2024

It’s only January, but we’ve already got the first word on this year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar, which is rumoured to include Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia in festive outfits, a 501st Legion Clone Trooper, a Super Battle Droid, Ahsoka from 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, and one more mystery character.

75396 Escape from the Sarlacc

Price: $89.99 Pieces: 558 Release date: August 1, 2024

Coming in at three times the price of 2017’s 75174 Desert Skiff Escape for only twice the pieces, 75396 Escape from the Sarlacc is shaping up to be LEGO Star Wars’ very own 76232 The Hoopty, which is to say it sounds… expensive. Rumoured minifigures for the Return of the Jedi set include Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, a Weequay and Boba Fett, who’s said to be the same version included in 75369 Boba Fett Mech.

75398 Buildable C-3PO

Price: $149.99 Pieces: 1,132 Release date: August 2024

The second of this year’s buildable droids will apparently be 75398 Buildable C-3PO, a surprise only in that it’s taken the LEGO Group this long to tackle goldenrod. Whether he’ll be as shiny as we hope remains to be seen, but that not-very-favourable price-per-piece ratio suggests there could be a fair number of drum-lacquered gold elements in the mix.

Threepio will reportedly be accompanied by a minifigure we’ve seen before, but it seems unlikely that the LEGO Group would repurpose the ultimate version of the droid from 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

As far as a May 4th GWP goes, wouldn’t it be cool to get the Skywalker hut from TPM? This could be a great way to introduce both an updated minifigure for young Ani Skywalker as well as a first minifigure for Shmi, which would be hard to put in another set, since we almost exclusively saw her character in and around her humble home.
