LEGO Star Wars fans on Facebook seek donations for charity
The LEGO Star Wars Fans Facebook group is running a charity drive to raise money for Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
One of the busiest LEGO groups on Facebook, LEGO Star Wars Fans, is raising money to donate LEGO sets to children at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospital. The group is co-ordinating with the 501st Legion Georgia Garrison to have costumed characters donate gifts on September 12, 2018.
As well as helping children going through extreme illness, each donation is entered into a prize draw, with over $700 of LEGO prizes to be won. Donations of up to $49 get one entry into the prize draw, with $50 – $99 donations getting two entries and $100+ donations getting three entries.
The donation drive is running until August 5, with the prize draw to take place shortly thereafter.
Donation Drive will run June 15 to August 5, 2018. Live random giveaway drawing will take place shortly after, date and time to be announced at
Details about the cause are available at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center website. To donate, visit the PayPal giving page.
