The Diorama Collection
The newest of the LEGO Star Wars collections is the Diorama Collection. Launching on April 26, it’s only made up of three sets at the time of writing. These are 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama, 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama and 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama. They focus on depicting specific scenes, only from the Original Trilogy so far and includes minifigures and detailed builds. This is apart from 75329 Death Star Trench Run, which has no minifigures.
The Helmet Collection
Also with no minifigures is the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection, which focuses on recreating helmets, or a droid head, from across the LEGO Star Wars films and TV shows. Similar collections for Marvel have started to depict other props, though no lightsabers have been available to purchase just yet. In 2022, 75327 Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet, 75328 The Mandalorian Helmet and 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet were added to the range.
The Ultimate Collector Series
Introduced before both the Diorama and Helmet Collections is the Ultimate Collector Series of LEGO Star Wars sets, even predating LEGO for Adults and its 18+ sets. It’s known for recreating ships, and some locations, at minifigure scale or larger, focusing on details and size most of all. Recent additions include 75313 AT-AT and 75309 Republic Gunship.
All three collections bring something different to LEGO Star Wars and have increased the choices that older enthusiasts have when it comes to displaying their love of a galaxy far, far away in bricks.
