An upcoming issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine will return to a 2024 battle pack, offering another source of Imperial Commando troopers for Mandalorian fans.
The publication will follow Issue 118’s Qui-Gon Jinn minifigure with an Imperial Commando in Issue 119, pulling from the 2024 set 75373 Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack. That will pair nicely with Issue 116’s Mandalorian Nite Owl for collectors who obtain their minifigures exclusively through these magazines, while offering another way to amass legions of Imperial Commandos beyond the battle pack.
While the LEGO Star Wars magazine doesn’t necessarily offer the best value proposition for these relatively cheap army-building minifigures, Issue 119 could prove fruitful for those looking solely for extra Commandos without also amassing a surplus of repeated Mandalorian minifigures (through buying the battle pack), with the convenience of buying it while you’re doing your weekly shop rather than turning to the aftermarket.
