LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2024 GWPs and promos revealed

The LEGO Group reveals what LEGO Star Wars GWPs will be available for May the 4th 2024 in celebration of both Star Wars Day and the theme’s 25th anniversary.

May the 4th this year is more than your average Star Wars Day, with it also being the 25th anniversaries of both LEGO Star Wars and The Phantom Menace. As such, there are various LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets, some of which include exclusive celebratory minifigures.

If that wasn’t enough to entice you to make a big LEGO Star Wars purchase this Star Wars Day, the LEGO Group has now confirmed there will be no less than three LEGO Star Wars GWPs arriving at the beginning of May, at three different minimum spends on LEGO Star Wars orders. All three GWPs will run from May 1 to May 5, or until stocks last – and judging from May the 4th promos in the past, that might not be long.

The first of the LEGO Star Wars GWPs is 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier, coming with any LEGO Star Wars purchases over £145 / $160 / €160. Including eight droid figures on a brick-built carrier, with room on the back for six droids to be transported in their space-saving pose. These six characters are also equipped with a blaster, ready to leap into action.

Next up is 5008818 Battle of Yavin, coming with any LEGO Star Wars orders over £80 / $90 / €90. The collectible piece is a medal that appears to be engraved with an image of an X-wing flying its way through the Death Star trench.

Last but not least is 30680 AAT, a polybag that produces a minibuild of the floating tanks that formed the frontlines of Trade Federation infantry. It would pair especially well with 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier, fleshing out a battle scene from the prequel era.
