LEGO Star Wars 2025 rumour updates – Enoch, Plo Koon, dioramas and more

More rumoured details on the LEGO Star Wars 2025 range have surfaced, including a key omission in the Night Trooper battle pack and a change of direction for Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter.

Max Baut on Instagram, who has a proven track record for LEGO rumours, is currently hosting an AMA (ask me anything) on Instagram with some interesting rumoured details surfacing from it. Take all these details with caution just in case as we near 2025.

When asked about the previously rumoured Night Trooper battle pack (based on Ahsoka), the source responded with word that the build for the set would be a small version of the LAAT/le patrol gunship as depicted before in 75046 Coruscant Police Gunship.

More importantly, they said that Captain Enoch with his signature gold faceplate helmet may not be part of the battle pack after being skipped in 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea in favour of a regular Night Trooper instead. Admittedly, this would be preferable for a battle pack to allow enthusiasts to army-build Night Troopers without amassing a squad of Enochs.

Still, it suggests that LEGO Star Wars will still be missing the character, at least until any potential models based on the second season of Ahsoka, none of which have been rumoured or confirmed.

The AMA also led to a question about the rumoured 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter, which is now said to be a Microfighter rather than a full-sized ship. While this would allow the opportunity to pick up a Plo Koon minifigure for less, it means that we’ll be without a full-sized Plo Koon set since 2010’s 8093 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter.

A later exciting rumour from the AMA implied that the LEGO Group would finally be releasing an accurate Clone Pilot minifigure in the future after they had been inaccurately using the standard Clone Trooper phase-one helmet elements. All they would need is a new helmet piece without the upper fin and the rumour suggests that we’re finally close to one.

Other information from the AMA includes word that the LEGO Star Wars dioramas are over for now and that the collection will continue through other themes. Again, this should all be taken with caution as even the source isn’t entirely certain about some of these details. Still, this source has a reliable track record with rumours.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
