Every LEGO Star Wars set retiring in 2023 and beyond – September update
Adjust your priorities with the latest list of LEGO Star Wars sets retiring soon, which sees nine products pushed back – and this year’s most unusual model handed an extremely short shelf life.
The longlist of LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2023 is all but firmed up at this point, having not changed much in months – save for the fresh addition in September of 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama, which only launches on October 1 but is already scheduled to retire by the end of the year. That makes for an extremely narrow window in which to pick up the first sequel trilogy set in years.
It’s not too unexpected, though: other LEGO seasonal sets, such as the annual advent calendars, only hang around on shelves for a few months. But those generally launch in September, where the Falcon diorama (inspired by the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special) won’t be available to buy from LEGO.com and LEGO Stores until October, resulting in an even more truncated lifespan.
At the other end of the spectrum are nine sets originally pencilled in to leave production in 2024, but which are now expected to stay on shelves until the end of 2025 – including 75331 The Razor Crest, 75355 X-Wing Starfighter and both of this year’s new dioramas from a galaxy far, far away. They’ll all join what was previously the only LEGO Star Wars set due to retire in 2025, 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader.

Heavy hitters making way in 2023 include 75288 AT-AT, 75292 The Razor Crest and 75309 Republic Gunship.
