The latest rumours about potential The Mandalorian Season 3 sets provided suggested names, with one being 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor. The Fang Fighter is an agile ship with swivel-mounted wings, allowing the cockpit to rotate independently of the wings.
We’ve seen a similar concept reimagined by the LEGO Group before in 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter, but the Fang Fighter has a much thinner and more elegant design. If the rumours prove to be true, it’ll likely make for a cool display piece.
Being able to rotate the wings can give an even better sense of flight than more static ships, adding some extra oomph to any LEGO Star Wars display. What’s more, with more and more enormous sets on the market, such as 75331 The Razor Crest and 75192 Millennium Falcon, it’s good to see that LEGO Star Wars will still hopefully be making room for smaller ships.
Of course, we need to take these rumours with a pinch of salt until we got official confirmation from the LEGO Group — but we can still dream.

- I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
