LEGO Star Wars sets sell out as May the 4th starts

LEGO Star Wars sets are already starting to sell out on the official online store as May the 4th begins, with stock for one depleted just after it started.

May the 4th has now begun on the online LEGO store worldwide, with a range of free sets to pick up with qualifying orders, the new UCS 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder and more builds that launched before the event started.

Here’s a quick rundown of every recently-released Star Wars set that’s out of stock or on back order in the US and UK on the official online store, accurate at the time of writing on the morning of May 1, 2022:

75342 Republic Fighter TankUK: Back order / US: Out of stock
75339 Death Star Trash Compactor DioramaUK: Back order

That’s not a huge impact on the recently released selection of LEGO Star Wars models, but considering that May the 4th started just hours ago on LEGO.com, it’s a sign that the event is already popular and may result in further stock changes around the world as it continues.

There are still three days to go for May the 4th at LEGO.com at the time of writing, so you might want to get your order in soon in case your preferred sets sell out before you have the chance.
