The more we think about LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator, the more questions we have

In some ways, LEGO Star Wars 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator is a predictable set for 2024 – but it’s also got us scratching our heads over some tricksy questions.

Seeing as 2024 is the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars as a theme and of The Phantom Menace as a film, it makes total sense for the LEGO Group to dedicate one of its anniversary sets to an Episode 1 ship. However, the recent reveal that this is 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator has left us with a seemingly ever-growing list of questions.

Why did the LEGO Group decide on this particular price point and size? Why did they pick this particular model from Episode 1? Why does the Sith Infiltrator keep popping up in LEGO Star Wars sets? Why is this vehicle so closely tied to discussions of The Phantom Menace? Why has it been so well covered in LEGO Star Wars? Why are we not getting more minifigures beyond the same faithful trio of Qui-Gon, Anakin, and Darth Maul?

Well, Brick Fanatics‘ own Matthew has been scratching his head over these very questions. We can’t say that there are many answers to be found but the discussion around it is a lot of fun. Join him for some thoughts, questions, and general excitement around the upcoming LEGO Star Wars set over on our YouTube channel.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
