LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga nominated for The Game Awards

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been nominated for a category at The Game Awards 2022 just as its new DLC releases.

The Game Awards 2022 is taking place on December 8 streaming online at 5:00pm PT and it may be worth tuning in as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been nominated for the title of best family game.

It may feel further away, but LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released earlier this year on April 5, making it eligible for the annual gaming awards show. It’s been nominated alongside four other games, all of which are only available on the Nintendo Switch system. Notably, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the only title in this category available on multiple platforms.

At the end of 2021, the game was nominated for The Golden Joystick awards for the most wanted title. Thankfully, it’s no longer eligible for such an award as it is now available after multiple delays. Recently, the Galactic Edition of the game was released with six new character packs coming by the end of November.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
