LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition has opened its doors down under
The highly-anticipated LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition has finally opened its doors to fans of a galaxy far, far away down under.
Australian LEGO Star Wars fans will have had had plenty to get excited about recently, with this year’s May the 4th event offering up multiple new sets, GWPs, Insiders rewards, boosted points, a make and take and much more.
In addition, LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition has now finally opened its doors, with fans in the country able to check out what’s on offer at the Melbourne Museum. The good news is that the show looks to be packed with multiple massive brick-built models, with more than eight million LEGO elements used and over 25,000 hours of construction required.






Crafted by LEGO Certified Professional Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught and his team, LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition features a number of large-scale fan-favourite characters and iconic scenes recreated in amazing detail.
On display are life-size versions of Grogu, Ahsoka Tano, Princess Leia, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Han Solo and Ewoks, plus battles between Qui-Gon Jin and Darth Maul, Yoda and Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous, Din Djarin and Moff Gideon, and Rey versus Kylo Ren.






In addition, a number of epic builds can also be found at LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition, such as a three metre long X-Wing Fighter constructed from 64,759 pieces, a two metre Death Star comprised of 183,652 elements and a Star Destroyer cutaway that comes in at five metres long and 74,244 parts.
Those looking to attend the event can book online via the Melbourne Museum website, with tickets priced at $38 AUD for adults, $33 AUD for adult members, $24 AUD for children, $19 AUD for child members and flexible entry from $44 AUD.
