LEGO Winter Village 10293 Santa’s Visit available for everyone

Following two weeks of exclusivity for VIP members, LEGO for Adults 10293 Santa’s Visit is now available to everyone at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.

This year’s addition to the Winter Village Collection is a charming blue cottage, capturing one of the most iconic storytelling moments associated with festive traditions around the world. The 1,445-piece set includes four minifigures – a mother, father, child and Santa Claus – and multiple play features.

The most obvious of those is the chimney for Santa to slide down, but 10293 Santa’s Visit also includes the Winter Village subtheme’s first-ever light-up Christmas tree, making clever use of a light brick concealed within the build. It’s just one more aspect that sets this year’s model apart from the more fantastical 10267 Gingerbread House and 10275 Elf Club House.

There’s tonnes more to discover in 10293 Santa’s Visit, and you can find some of those secrets in our walkthrough with the set’s designer, Chris McVeigh. For the rest, you’ll have to order the set from LEGO.com, where it’s available now for £79.99 in the UK, $99.99 in the US and from €89.99 in Europe.

One thing 10293 Santa’s Visit doesn’t include is any mode of transport for big red, but you can solve that problem by picking up 40499 Santa’s Sleigh at the same time. The Seasonal set is also available at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores right now for £34.99 / $36.99 / €36.99, and comes with four reindeer to pull the sleigh.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
