LEGOLAND California rounds out the year by treating its Miniland citizens

LEGOLAND California is ending the year by treating its Miniland citizens with supplies of toilet paper and LEGO vaccines.

The Carlsbad theme park remains mostly closed during the pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped its Master Model Builders from celebrating the end of 2020 with the help of some Miniland citizens.

In a video from Theme Park Insider, a few people from Miniland can be seen giving supplies of LEGO toilet paper and vaccines to Miniland New Yorkers, via a pair of labelled trucks.

Thankfully, the LEGO people are patiently waiting their turn and social distancing appropriately, with one Master Model Builder demonstrating the six stud distance between them. These citizens have even been dressed up in colourful LEGO masks.

Stacks upon stacks of toilet paper and boxes of blue and green vaccines are being handed to each person in the queue, which stretches down the LEGO recreation of Times Square. Nearby, a giant LEGO brick drop counts down the days before the end of 2020, with the Miniland citizens waiting for it to snap into place.

LEGOLAND California is almost entirely closed during the pandemic, but guests can catch a glimpse of the display by shopping at the Big Shop and visiting Miniland.
