First look at LEGO Disney 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle
The Kids section of LEGO.com has revealed a first look at the next supersized LEGO Disney set, 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle.
The LEGO Group has yet to officially reveal 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle (it doesn’t have a full product listing on LEGO.com at the time of writing), but the first images of the new set are freely available over at kids.LEGO.com. We also don’t yet have a confirmed price, piece count or even a release date for this follow-up to 2023’s 43222 Disney Castle, but rumours suggest it could cost $299.99 in the US.
That wouldn’t be terribly surprising for the size of 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle, which towers to a height of 53cm tall in lavender, tan and dark red hues. We can see from these images that it includes at least 10 characters, among which are minifigures of Belle, Beast, Gaston, LeFou and Maurice, plus buildable versions of Lumiere, Fifi, Cogsworth, Chip and Mrs. Potts.
Like 71040 The Disney Castle and 43222 Disney Castle before it, there’s a full interior to this palatial building, complete with the ballroom for Belle and Beast, the library, the dining hall and much more. It’s tough to make out many of the finer details given these images are relatively small, but it looks at first glance to hit most of the major beats from the original animated movie.
43222 Disney Castle is currently scheduled to retire in 2025, so 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle is presumably being teed up as its successor in the direct-to-consumer Disney castle space, albeit with a little crossover on shelves. We’ll hopefully learn more about this new LEGO Disney set in the very near future.
