Most of the interior is kept and the exterior is still recognisable, even down to the intricate sign build. There's no room for the kitchen or the upstairs toilet, but it's a worthwhile sacrifice to have it fit into your modular street.
The top floor of the model is now home to the karaoke machine and your minifigures may need to keep it down to avoid disturbing citizens in neighbouring buildings.

Windows have been added to the back of the building to offer some detail when part of the set is open next to other modular buildings, or even wholly open next to 80107 Spring Lantern Festival. A door provides a rear entrance to the restaurant too.
