Marvel announces new LEGO Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom animated special
A new LEGO Spider-Man animated special is coming next year, Marvel has announced.
During New York Comic Con, Marvel announced that a new LEGO Spider-Man animated special will arrive next year, the Brick Fan reports. Capitalising on the recent release of the Sony film release Venom, the special will be titles LEGO Marvel Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom.
The story for this animated release sees tech theft in New York City is at an all-time high, with Green Goblin and Venom behind it. Before his hometown is destroyed, Spider-Man must put a stop to their dastardly machinations.
Voice talent lined up includes Robbie Daymond as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, Ben Pronsky as Venom, Josh Keaton as Green Goblin, Laura Bailey as Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider and Tara Strong as Mary Jane.
The animated release will be part of a big year for Spidey, with The LEGO Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller produced Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse arriving in cinemas on December 14 and Spider-Man: Far From Home coming to the big screen on July 5.
How LEGO Marvel Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom has not yet been announced, it may air on television or may be released on home formats.
