The designer of the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star will be signing copies of the record-breaking set on launch day.
If you want to add a little extra exclusivity to your £900 purchase, head down to the LEGO Store in Leicester Square on October 1 to pick it up in person. Designer César Soares will be on hand meeting fans and signing copies of 75419 Death Star, which launches exclusively for LEGO Insiders that day before going on wider sale (still through official LEGO channels) on October 4.
César is the lead designer behind 75419 Death Star, which is the first set to reach $999.99 in the US, and has already been talking up the new set (and explaining some of its more controversial elements) plenty ahead of release. If you want to pick his brains in person, Leicester Square is the place to be. You’ll just need to be comfortable with carrying home a 9,000-piece set on the tube.

The meet-and-greet will take place from 10am to 11am UK time on October 1. Limited copies of the Death Star will be available to purchase, with a maximum of one per person. Not that you’d be able to carry many more than that anyway…
If you can’t get there in person, you’ll still be able to order 75419 Death Star directly from LEGO.com on October 1 as long as you have a LEGO Insiders account. Early adopters will receive 40771 TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack as an exclusive gift-with-purchase.
