Expand your LEGO Modular Buildings Collection with double VIP points

The LEGO Group’s latest double VIP points event presents a good opportunity to secure hard-to-find models, including modular buildings.

In August, a brand new LEGO Marvel modular building similar to 76178 Daily Bugle will launch with 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum being directly inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe rather than the comics.

To get ready for the next compatible modular model, you might consider stocking up on the brick-built buildings from the official online store while double VIP points are available on all purchases. That deal only lasts until June 30, 2022.

5 – 10255 Assembly Square

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection, 10255 Assembly Square is still available after years since it was initially released for
£229.99 / $279.99 / €259.99. It includes the classic smiling faces on the minifigures and a fountain courtyard surrounded by shops to add a high street to your display, while remembering the old days of modular buildings.

4 – 10270 Bookshop

2020’s entry into the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection is 10270 Bookshop for £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99. It keeps to the standard size of the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection, though the two buildings can be separated to fill in any gaps in your street. This bookshop also comes with a printed book representing Moby Brick, a familiar tale given a LEGO twist.

3 – 10278 Police Station

Most LEGO police stations are limited to LEGO CITY, though those looking for a more realistic headquarters can turn to 10278 Police Station as a detailed building that brings law enforcement to your modular street. This creation also tells a story of a doughnut thief and the interior has a few genius assemblies including one that uses an elastic band. You can grab it now for £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99.

2 – 10297 Boutique Hotel

The most recent entry into the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection is 10297 Boutique Hotel, and arguably it should fit the best with 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum thanks to its similar colour scheme. This elegant model features multiple rooms for guests to stay in, a reception as well as a terrace and an art gallery next door. Those wanting to add this corner building to their display will need to set aside £174.99 / $199.99 / €199.99.

1 – 76178 Daily Bugle

Much like 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, 76178 Daily Bugle isn’t an official entry in the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection but it’s just as compatible. It has a different overall style to the other modular models thanks to its emphasis on the 25 included minifigures but it’s sure to stand tall above the rest of the skyline. While it’s currently out of stock on the official online store, should it return before the double VIP points event ends you can buy it for £264.99 / $299.99 / €299.99.
