More images reveal further details of LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets

As pre-orders go live on the online store for the LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary sets, more images have revealed further details of the range.

From videos offering 360 spins of the sets to images showcasing every angle not previously revealed, LEGO.com is offering a detailed showcase of the five new LEGO Star Wars sets and some of their fun Easter eggs.

Starting with 75376 Tantive IV, the video spin of the model reveals that one of the eight escape pods is missing from the underside of the build, securing this set’s spot in the timeline just after C-3PO and R2-D2 left the ship for Tatooine. This reference is placed on the back of the build to not ruin its silhouette on display too.

Another image offers a better look at the engines and the recreation of that iconic wall of propulsion as seen in A New Hope.

For 75377 Invisible Hand, further images offer a look at different angles of the set and the description mentions that the ship can split into two as it did in Revenge of the Sith. Tiago Catarino has offered a first look at this feature in action too.

Other images showcase the minifigures in 75379 R2-D2 including Darth Malak as well as a peek at the back of the astromech’s body and head. You’ll be glad to know that the familiar blue pattern is present on top of the head too, via a printed dome element.

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV‘s play features are detailed in more pictures including the sliding door and the ability to launch figures using levers. The more interesting part of this listing is a look at six of the set’s minifigures, which unfortunately means that the exclusive Fives minifigure does not have a dedicated image at the time of writing, similar to Darth Malak.

These five LEGO Star Wars sets are launching on March 1 and pre-orders for all of them are available now. Here’s a reminder of what’s rumoured and confirmed for LEGO Star Wars in 2024.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
