New LEGO Fortnite Star Wars trailer revealed

With the launch of the LEGO Fortnite Star Wars content comes a new trailer showcasing what you can expect in-game now.

Star Wars has landed – again – in Fortnite’s various modes for May the 4th including a major update to LEGO Fortnite. A trailer for the new content has been released, offering a peek at what is coming from a galaxy far, far away to Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing.

For LEGO Fortnite, the new update is adding a wealth of Star Wars content including a new area to explore with Stormtroopers, rebels and new buildings to create fresh villages. We’d advise looking up when you load into a world as there’s an interesting occurrence in the sky to celebrate May the 4th.

There’s also the first LEGO Pass, as revealed previously, including a Chewbacca outfit and various decor items and buildings to earn, all of which are yours to keep after the event ends. Whether the new rebel village and villagers in the update will remain following the update has yet to be confirmed, though with any luck they’ll at least return in the future.

The Star Wars LEGO Pass is the first of it’s kind and sets an interesting precedent for LEGO Fortnite. There is a free track of rewards as well as one that requires 1,400 V-Bucks to redeem, though you will earn the rewards through gameplay ready to unlock them by paying.

The Star Wars update is available now across all Fortnite modes including one of the biggest updates yet for LEGO Fortnite.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
