Two new LEGO Icons and Art space sets out now for LEGO Insiders

It’s a big day for LEGO space sets and LEGO Insiders as early access has just begun for the latest pair of massive LEGO Icons and Art models.

The LEGO Group’s focus on all things space throughout 2024 is continuing this month as both 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System and 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy are available now early to LEGO Insiders.

Those who are signed up for the free program can enjoy a few days of early access to the LEGO Art and LEGO Icons sets before they are released widely. There’s also a free 40687 Alien Space Diner being offered with purchases of £90 / $100 / €100 and both new sets qualify for it.

10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System depicts the rocket of the same mission on the launchpad, offering the most detailed recreation of such equipment so far.

Using 3,601 pieces for £219.99 / $259.99 / €259.99, 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System can be split into individual stages similar to 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V and should pair well with the retired LEGO Ideas set. You can read our review of the new LEGO Icons model by clicking here.

31212 The Milky Way Galaxy offers an entirely different take on LEGO space, opting for an artistic recreation of the Milky Way galaxy with some fun details to pick out and part usage that should be anything but repetitive. The new LEGO Art set is packed with references to spot including but not limited to Trappist-1, the Pleiades, the Crab Nebula and the Pillars of Creation.

Both 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System and 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy are available now to LEGO Insiders. For everyone else, the sets will be available widely from May 18. Don’t forget that purchasing either should score you a free 40687 Alien Space Diner, provided stocks last or until May 26.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
