Two brand new flagship LEGO Star Wars and ICONS sets now available to everyone

Two brand new flagship LEGO Star Wars and ICONS launches for October are now available to everyone, so you can grab them even if you aren’t a VIP member.

First up, though: if you aren’t a LEGO VIP member yet, why not? The program is free to join and has plenty of benefits, including points back on every purchase to spend on more LEGO, entries to sweepstakes or exclusive rewards. Check out our primer on the LEGO Group’s loyalty scheme here, along with a full breakdown of the value of VIP points by region.

Another key benefit of joining the VIP program is early access to brand new sets, which this month includes 75331 The Razor Crest and 10308 Holiday Main Street. Both of those models were available exclusively to VIP members from October 3, but everyone else has had to wait until today (October 7) to get their hands on them.

The good news is that you can at least pick up either or both of those Star Wars and ICONS sets now anyway, and if you’ve subsequently signed up to the VIP program for future early access periods, you’ll start earning VIP points right away. Look out for next week’s double VIP points promo to really start racking up rewards.

Don’t forget too that 40566 Ray the Castaway is still free with orders above £120 / $120 / €120. 75331 The Razor Crest will get you there all on its own, but you’ll need to top up your basket by £30.01 / $20.01 / €20.01 if you’re buying 10308 Holiday Main Street.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
