The next LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka minifigure may be more accurate

Details have emerged about the appearance of Ahsoka Tano in an upcoming Star Wars show, which may keep LEGO Star Wars purists a little happier.

Fans of the prequel era have been well served by LEGO Star Wars lately, with two Ahsoka Tano minifigures appearing in recent LEGO sets. Both draw inspiration from Ahsoka’s appearance in the final episodes of The Clone Wars, and can be found in 75283 Armored Assault Tank (AAT) and 75310 Duel on Mandalore respectively.

While it’s a lovely minifigure on its own merits, there’s a small problem; Ashoka’s striped lekku are too long. These distinctive parts of Ahsoka’s head grow as members of her species age, and she was still relatively young during the events of The Clone Wars – even in its final seasons.

A visual comparison between Ahsoka in The Book of Boba Fett (and the upcoming Ahsoka show, due to launch in 2023) shows a marked difference in length. The colouration also seems to be a little different, although that could just be a trick of the light. Other details about the Ahsoka show remain scant at this time.

It’s likely that Ahsoka will get a new LEGO version for the inevitable tie-in sets – and it’s also likely she’ll re-use her existing head elements. However, since the lekku are clearly longer now, they should be a good fit in this context.
