Nine new LEGO NINJAGO 2025 sets revealed

At least nine new LEGO NINJAGO sets are on the way in January, and an online retailer has revealed the first images of the latest assortment of mechs, cars and dragons.

JB Spielwaren has published product listings for nine new LEGO NINJAGO 2025 sets, ranging from pocket money-priced spinners all the way up to another towering combo mech. These sets will launch at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores on January 1, and we’ll hopefully see product listings at the official online store – complete with confirmed international pricing – later today.

For now, dive into the images and details we have so far below, and don’t forget to check out our complete list of LEGO 2025 sets for all the latest confirmed and rumoured releases.

71823 Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu Spinner

Price: €9.99 Pieces: 54 Release date: January 1, 2025

One of three new LEGO NINJAGO spinner sets on the cards for January 2025, 71823 Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu Spinner comes in at a respectable €9.99 in Europe and includes two minifigures: Kai and a Dragonian Scout. The Dragonians are the new baddies for next year, and this one’s rocking some pretty cool armour.

71824 Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu Spinner

Price: €9.99 Pieces: 56 Release date: January 1, 2025

The other solo spinner for January is 71824 Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu Spinner, and all that trans-pink is looking pretty awesome. Like Kai’s spinner, this one includes a pair of characters, including a brand new Sora minifigure and a Dragonian Warrior.

71826 Dragon Spinjitzu Battle Pack

Price: €19.99 Pieces: 186 Release date: January 1, 2025

Alongside the two individual spinners will be a double pack that the LEGO Group is billing as a ‘battle pack’, complete with spinners for Arin and a Dragonian Warrior. There’s also a small temple build to destroy with the spinners, offering a bit more meat (and therefore value) to the slightly more expensive 71826 Dragon Spinjitzu Battle Pack.

71827 Zane’s Battle Suit Mech

Price: €9.99 Pieces: 92 Release date: January 1, 2025

Not all mechs need to take up your entire shelf and a chunk of your LEGO budget, and 71827 Zane’s Battle Suit Mech is the latest to offer a more affordable approach to mechanical armour. It eschews the fixed knee elements of similar mechs (by doing away with knees entirely) and includes a generous three minifigures for €9.99, among which are Zane, Wyldfyre and someone called ‘Drih’, if we’re reading that font correctly.

71828 Lloyd’s Pull-Back Race Car

Price: €24.99 Pieces: 181 Release date: January 1, 2025

Cars are as much a staple of LEGO NINJAGO as dragons and mechs, so it’s no surprise to see another one in the 2025 line-up in 71828 Lloyd’s Pull-Back Race Car. This 181-piece set is pretty light on minifigures by NINJAGO standards, including only Lloyd and a Dragonian Warrior, but the fun pull-back function should make up for that.

71829 Lloyd’s Green Forest Dragon

Price: €19.99 Pieces: 128 Release date: January 1, 2025

What was that about dragons? The only one in the January 2025 NINJAGO wave belongs to Lloyd and is decked out in colours befitting the green ninja, while also packing in a Dragonian scout and a golden Dragon Baby. 71829 Lloyd’s Green Forest Dragon is also one of the cheaper sets in the new wave at €19.99 in Europe.

71830 Kai’s Mech Storm Rider

Price: €49.99 Pieces: 333 Release date: January 1, 2025

Perhaps one of the most unusual LEGO NINJAGO January 2025 sets is 71830 Kai’s Mech Storm Rider, a model that gives Kai a mech and then gives Kai’s mech its own twin-engine vehicle to pilot. It’s a neat concept and should pull in at least a few NINJAGO fans with dragon and mech fatigue, and includes minifigures of Kai, Nya and a Dragonian Warrior.

71831 Ninja Spinjitzu Temple

Price: €39.99 Pieces: 158 Release date: January 1, 2025

The only 4+ LEGO NINJAGO set revealed for January 2025 (so far), 71831 Ninja Spinjitzu Temple is surprisingly detailed thanks to some neat graphic design. Those pieces will presumably be printed, too – kids that age can’t handle stickers – while the minifigure line-up is fairly generous, with Nya, Kai, Lloyd, Zane and Baby Ryu in the box.

71833 Ras and Arin’s Super Storm Jet

Price: €49.99 Pieces: 510 Release date: January 1, 2025

Skewering another staple of NINJAGO (there are loads, okay), 71833 Ras and Arin’s Super Storm Jet boasts a striking dark blue, flame yellowish orange and gold colour scheme that’s sure to pull in more than a few fans. Minifigure collectors will want to make a beeline for this one for Ras, who only appears in this set for 2025 (for now at least), and is joined by a Dragonian Warrior and Arin.

71834 Zane’s Ultra Combiner Mech

Price: €99.99 Pieces: 1,187 Release date: January 1, 2025

The biggest LEGO NINJAGO 2025 set revealed to date is a spiritual successor to 2022’s 71765 Ninja Ultra Combo Mech, gifting Zane a giant mech that can split into four separate builds: a dragon, car, jet and mech. That’s every NINJAGO trope in one model, and you can’t say fairer than that. The minifigure line-up here includes Sora, Cole, Pixal, Nokt, a Dragonian Scout, a Dragonian Warrior and a brick-built Zane.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
