October 2024 LEGO Pick a Brick update includes Harry Potter and City

The October 2024 LEGO Pick a Brick selection has been revealed at Skaerbaek Fan Weekend, including Harry Potter, City and more new pieces.

New Elementary revealed the selection on Instagram and looking closely at the video, you can spot quite a few exciting additions to the service. They mention to have been told that there is a delay in their release and that there are improvements to Pick a Brick on the way.

Nothing more is revealed in their post, choosing instead to focus on the new elements, though they're certainly interesting enough to keep our attention.

Here are some of the highlights that we've managed to spot in the new video and there are quite a few enticing elements to pick up this month.

Minifigure pieces

While new minifigure heads are fairly light this month, plenty of torsos are coming to Pick a Brick as well as a smaller selection of legs. The best of these new pieces include the snake-like legs used for Nuwa in 80058 Celestial Pagoda, Johnny Thunder's Torso from 60424 Jungle Explorer ATV Red Panda Mission, a mix of parts from 71814 Tournament Temple City and a couple of minifigure elements from 76440 Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival.

Animal pieces

For animal collectors, LEGO City's new gorilla, red panda and tiger are all coming to the service and the recent Scottish Terrier piece from 42638 Castle Bed and Breakfast is on the way too. Here's hoping those parts aren't too expensive, but expect them to be priced a bit higher than other animal elements just in case.

Printed pieces

Of the many printed parts, the highlights include the decorated elements from 60440 Yellow Delivery Truck. These will be useful for billboards in your LEGO displays. There's also the signage from 60407 Red Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus, Legolas' torso print from 40751 Legolas & Gimli and multiple pieces from 10334 Retro Radio.

The release date for these new elements has yet to be confirmed, other than at some time in October. We'll be sure to let you know when we learn more so that you can start planning your purchases.
