Original Sonic the Hedgehog developer reacts to LEGO Ideas set

An original Sonic the Hedgehog game designer has reacted to the new LEGO Ideas set based on the title, noting that his dreams have come true.

Hirozaku Yasuhara, level and game designer and creator of Green Hill Zone in the 1990 Sonic the Hedgehog game has got his hands on the LEGO Ideas recreation and shared his reaction to the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog course built in bricks.

21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone is out now and Hirozaku Yasuhara has taken to Twitter to thank the LEGO designers and everyone involved for turning his level into an official set, with emoji suggesting that he is pleased with the final result.

Viv Grannell, fan designer for the project that inspired 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone commented on the social media post hoping that Yasahura would enjoy the model, to which he responded that his dreams have come true.

You can find 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone on shelves and online now as the latest LEGO Ideas set to release. It will be eligible for the free 40491 Year of the Tiger promotion starting tomorrow, for anyone who has been holding back on a purchase.

Another LEGO Ideas may be revealed soon too, judging by recent tweets from LEGO designers.
