Pepper Potts’ LEGO Rescue armour is flying back to stores

An upcoming LEGO Avengers magazine will include a minifigure of an armoured Pepper Potts – helping you to bag a rare Marvel minifigure if it’s available in your area.

The LEGO Group offers a variety of magazines in certain territories, with the likes of Star Wars, Jurassic World and Minecraft getting plenty of different models in the last few years. These are an opportunity to pick up some cute LEGO mini builds – or even snag some rare minifigures. The latest example of this can be found in December’s LEGO Avengers magazine, which features a minifigure of Iron Man ally Pepper Potts in her Rescue armour.

Similar in appearance to Tony Stark’s Iron Man suits, Rescue offers a slightly more feminine take on the concept for Pepper Potts to use. LEGO versions of Rescue have so far appeared on two occasions. The first could be found in the 2019 set 76144 Avengers Hulk Helicopter Rescue, and took its cues from the blue/purple suit in Avengers: Endgame. The second appeared in 2020’s 76164 Iron Man Hulkbuster versus A.I.M. Agent, featuring a red and silver colour scheme instead.

This magazine’s Rescue is the newer red and silver verson, and it also comes with a flying, stud-shooting drone. Interestingly the drone uses the original style of stud shooter – rather than the new boxier one – which makes this set a throwback in more ways than one. If it is available in your region (the magazines tend to favour the UK and Europe) Hoth Bricks reports it’ll be available from December 5.

If you’re more of a Spider-Man fan, make sure to watch the newsstands from early 2023 – as earlier reports indicate Miles Morales’ Spider-Man can be found in one of these magazines at that time.
