Proposed modular kiosk system would be perfect for LEGO Ideas

The LEGO Ideas third 2025 review has grown, adding a modular kiosk model that would help fill a gap in the fan-favourite theme.

Indijaner has joined the latest LEGO Ideas review round with their first submission on the platform. They’ve been inspired by the Kiosk K67 from their home, designed by Saša Janez Mächtig. The system of kiosks, which debuted in 1966 but was patented in 1967, is based on polyfibre reinforced modules, which could be used as single units or combined depending on the need.

The LEGO versions of these kiosks use rounded elements and hinge plates to maintain that modular concept, but an official set would be able to expand on this with Technic connectors to create a more customisable creation.

These kiosks would look right at home in a modular building display. LEGO Ideas users have been pitching modular creations for years, but only one has been approved so far in 21353 The Botanical Garden. It was then adapted to be less modular-compatible than anticipated. Given LEGO Ideas’ apparent desire to avoid expanding on the modular buildings, this submission could help fulfil fans’ desires.

A set based on this submission would expand into the Modular Buildings Collection, without being a distinct part of the range. For now, it joins the third 2025 review alongside 18 other projects at the time of writing.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
