US retailer Best Buy is offering up a free Bo-Katan Kryze figure this month, the first-ever brick-built version of the LEGO Star Wars character to date.
While LEGO Stores often host make and take events, the freebie models given away typically tend to be fairly-small builds. Not so with Best Buy though, as the US retailer has a unique incoming LEGO Star Wars promotional event planned for later this month, one that will offer up a familiar character from a galaxy far, far away.
Participating Best Buy stores in the US and Canada will be giving away a free 133-piece Bo-Katan Kryze figure on June 27 from 12pm to 2pm. The model represents the first-ever brick-built version of the fan-favourite character, one that’s previously only appeared in minifigure form in the likes of 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter and 75361 Spider Tank.

The Bo-Katan Kryze buildable figure comes complete with a pair of blasters and its own display stand, although there don’t appear to be any unique printed elements included with the LEGO Star Wars set or any obvious articulation.

As with most such promotional giveaways, the Bo-Katan Kryze buildable figure will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limited quantity of the LEGO Star Wars model up for grabs on the day (while stocks last).
From the look of the freebie set, the Bo-Katan Kryze buildable figure may be relatively straightforward to recreate at home for those who can’t make it to their local Best Buy store, so we’ll keep an eye out for the LEGO Star Wars model’s step-by-step instructions popping up online at some point after the event.
