More details have surfaced on the rumoured LEGO Icons Dragon Ball set that’s said to be dropping in 2026.
Building on an initial rumour back in March and details teased earlier this week, Instagram user ac_bricks_03 reports that 11390 Shenron will arrive in November 2026 with 1,760 pieces in the box. That piece count is a brand new detail here – as is the price tag of roughly $200. Previous reports indicated the model would cost somewhere between $150 and $200.
If true, this moderately-sized set (at least for LEGO Icons) would act as a sort of prelude to next year’s rumoured full LEGO Dragon Ball theme, in the same way that 75237 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird has arrived months ahead of next year’s LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets.
It would also make sense to get something out this year for Dragon Ball given it’s the 40th anniversary of the anime series’ original debut. Shenron is one of the most iconic characters in the entire franchise, too – he’s appeared in everything from Dragon Ball A to Dragon Ball Z (okay, you got us, there’s no Dragon Ball A), and in some ways acts as a narrative anchor for the rest of the story.
A giant build of the green dragon, often referred to as the Eternal Dragon, could rival some of NINJAGO’s best winged beasts – particularly with a piece count that outstrips even 71822 Source Dragon of Motion (pictured).
