LEGO Dragon Ball rumoured to be getting full theme in 2027

LEGO Dragon Ball rumoured to be getting full theme in 2027

A rumoured LEGO Dragon Ball set said to be dropping in 2026 may be merely a precursor to a full dedicated theme launching next year.

Rumours regarding the first-ever LEGO Dragon Ball set emerged back in March 2026, suggesting that the model might be released later this year, although details were relatively scarce at the time. Now comes a fresh update on that potential LEGO Icons build and word of what fans of the long-running anime series may expect to see next in brick-built form.

BrickTap (via Buggy) is reporting that 11390 Shenron might be arriving sometime in November 2026, with the magical creature said to be retailing for between $150-$200. That would put a possible LEGO version of the Eternal Dragon roughly in the same ballpark as other such large-scale beasts as LEGO NINJAGO’s 71822 Source Dragon of Motion and 71847 The Guardian Dragon, although we're merely speculating.

In addition, the latest rumours add that LEGO Dragon Ball could potentially go on to become a fully-fledged theme in 2027. If that does ultimately prove to be the case, then fans might be looking at all kinds of anime-related sets and minifigures, although that's just more specualtion on our part.

This isn’t the first time that the LEGO Group has released an initial set based on a licensed property and then followed it up with a full theme though. For instance, 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird will be launching on August 1, ahead of even more LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets arriving in 2027.

For now though, do treat all such LEGO Dragon Ball rumours with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise from official sources.
