ThunderCats and dairy modular join LEGO Ideas second review of 2026

Cartoon cats love their milk

ThunderCats and dairy modular join LEGO Ideas second review of 2026

Another two fan-designed builds have made it into the second LEGO Ideas review of 2026, including a classic 1980s cartoon adaptation and a detail-packed modular building.

As we approach the eighth week of the second LEGO Ideas review of 2026, two more sets have joined the ever-expanding list of builds up for consideration, bringing the total to 28.

Two drastically different projects, ThunderCats Ho! and Milk and Cheese Shop, have both reached the coveted 10l supporter milestone, meaning they will be considered by the LEGO Group when the review concludes in September.

Just three days after the previous project reached 10,000 supporters, MOCturnal’s ThunderCats Ho! achieved the same feat. The project brings the iconic 1980s TV show to life in a set that focuses as much on its characters as on the build itself.

The 1,391-piece model recreates the ThunderTank, complete with space for six minifigures, sliding roof doors and an array of hidden weapons.

The project also includes six highly detailed minifigures: Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetara, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, alongside a moulded version of Snarf, Lion-O’s loyal sidekick.

Moving away from the fantastical world of ThunderCats and into something more grounded, MingBrick has designed a highly detailed Milk and Cheese Shop modular that would slot perfectly into any LEGO city.

The approximately 2,980-piece project features a complete dairy workshop, showcasing everything from milk collection and storage to cheese production and sales.

Spread across two buildings, the model tells a story through its intricate details. The building on the right includes a truck delivering fresh milk, which is unloaded by a crane before being transported into a barn containing two milk storage tanks.

Upstairs is a cheesemaking room filled with machinery, while the ground floor of the left-hand building houses the cheese shop itself. The shop window even features a model cow.

Both projects showcase their own unique strengths and now join the growing list of fan designs in the second LEGO Ideas review of 2026. They now face a lengthy wait to discover whether they will eventually become official sets.
