Brick Fanatics' Matthew got hands-on with LEGO Ideas 21366 Floating Sea Otters in Billund and can confirm it's just as cute up close.
If your first reaction upon seeing 21366 Floating Sea Otters wasn't an immediate 'aww', then there might be something wrong with you. Otters aren't just cute to look at, but also have some adorable behaviours, like holding hands to make sure they don't lose one another on the waves and balancing their young on their bellies.
The newly-revealed LEGO Ideas set shows off all of that and more, based on Maximilian Lambrecht's original fan design that's been refined by the LEGO Group's Chris McVeigh. Brick Fanatics' Matthew got to hear from Chris, alongside LEGO Ideas Design Manager Jordan Scott, during LEGO Fan Media Days in Billund, as well as get hands-on with 21366 Floating Sea Otters himself.
It may have been a mistake to let Matthew get that close, as he promptly broke the set while showing it off.
