YouTuber Reckless Ben has posted a fresh update video, revealing the current state of play with his ongoing Bricks & Minifigs legal issues.
The continuing Bricks & Minifigs (BAM) saga doesn’t look like it’ll reach a conclusion any time soon, with the company recently doubling down on its commitment to resolving its ongoing legal issues with the Mansell family. That controversy has now taken a fresh turn, with YouTuber Reckless Ben posting his first update video following a temporary pause on creating content about Bricks & Minifigs.
Reckless Ben (aka Ben Schneider) has been documenting his feud with the company over the last few months, but took a break from YouTube after claiming that he risked legal consequences from Bricks & Minifigs if he were to continue and currently faces a total of four criminal charges (all misdemenors).
Those YouTube videos centred around a viral dispute regarding a $200,000 LEGO Star Wars consignment apparently mishandled by the Salem-Keizer, Oregon branch of Bricks & Minifigs, a claim that the company vehemently denies.
Following Reckless Ben’s last update in early June, he’s now taken to YouTube once again, this time with details of a recent trip to court to tell his side of the story and to bring viewers up to date with where things currently stand, following a federal judge lifting the ban on him posting new videos related to Bricks & Minifigs.
That 47-minute-long content includes audio from those court sessions that’s been animated in a tongue-in-cheek manner in order to add a unique visual flavour to the proceedings, with Reckless Ben claiming that he now has his ‘freedom of speech back’ and will be releasing more episodes on the Bricks & Minifigs saga going forward.

In the video, the YouTuber talks about how some of the bodycam footage submitted in the case appears to have been redacted, potentially to stop him from using it in more content covering the ongoing case, how Bricks & Minifigs is ‘making up tons of lies’ and the amount of support that Reckless Ben has received from the online community to date.
Bricks & Minifigs hasn’t dropped its lawsuit against Reckless Ben at this stage though, and may still sue the YouTuber, which he says would then give him enough new content to put out more videos for at least two years.
