Rumoured LEGO Avatar 2024 sets could be a new theme instead
LEGO Avatar’s rumoured 2024 sets may just be a new theme instead now as set numbers appear to have shifted away from the franchise.
In 2023, rumours for four LEGO Avatar sets due in 2024 surfaced online, but there has been no sign of them so far. Given that Avatar: The Way of Water was the franchise’s most recent release in 2022 with a wave of sets launched in 2023, exactly what they could be based on was unknown.
It’s now being reported by Instagram user exabrickslegogo_ that 75580, 75581, 75582 and 75583 are now being used for a new theme codenamed ‘Orange’, but will still be released this year. While you may be tempted to theorise what the codename could reveal for the rumoured theme, the user makes clear that it likely has no hidden meaning.
For now, not much else is reported for these rumoured sets and there are plenty of concepts and properties that ‘Orange’ could cover, including the rumoured Peppa Pig range and the recently launched LEGO Fortnite which is proving to be a popular mode soon after its release. Remember that nothing has been rumoured or confirmed though and these set numbers may not have been reserved for LEGO Avatar in the first place.
