Rumoured LEGO Dreamzzz 2023 theme logo revealed

The German Patent and Trademark Office has revealed the logo for LEGO Dreamzzz, which is rumoured to be a new in-house theme coming later this year.

The LEGO Group originally registered a trademark for Dreamzzz back in July 2022, across classes including toys, entertainment, software, clothing and stationery. That mix pointed to a possible new ‘big bang’ theme encompassing multiple different media, in the vein of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS and NINJAGO, but there wasn’t much else to go on at the time.

That all changed earlier this month, when a list of 10 potential LEGO Dreamzzz sets emerged online, consisting of product numbers, prices and piece counts. Now, the German Patent and Trademark Office has revealed what will seemingly be the logo for the new theme (if that’s what it is).

Published on the application page in black and white – although the final version used across product packaging could still be in colour – the Dreamzzz logo features a spiral that’s reminiscent of the classic ‘90s mash-up theme Time Cruisers, perhaps offering some indication of what LEGO Dreamzzz sets could consist of.

We’ll hopefully learn more about this theme, or at the very least what LEGO Dreamzzz is, in the weeks and months to come. If nothing else, the name suggests we could be in for something very different, and – hopefully – completely original.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
