Second rumoured set for LEGO Pharrell Williams movie may be cancelled

The upcoming Piece by Piece Pharrell Williams LEGO biopic may have had two sets planned, but one is rumoured to be cancelled.

Instagram user brick_clicker, via itavixbrix, reports that – as previously theorised– the rumoured 10391 Moments in Space is based on Piece by Piece but also that it’s not the only model for the movie though don’t expect to find the second on shelves. 10391 is now rumoured to be named The Atlantis APS too.

The Pharrell Williams LEGO biopic is rumoured to have had a BrickHeadz planned under the number 40629 but the rumour posits that it has likely been cancelled.

Provided that this rumour is accurate, it may be that the LEGO Group want to see how one LEGO Piece by Piece set performs before delving any further into models based on the movie.

It’s plausible that a Piece by Piece BrickHeadz could be based on Pharrell Williams as one of a few BrickHeadz based on a real person. Now though, it’s rumoured that such a BrickHeadz isn’t on the way at all.

Piece by Piece is currently scheduled to release on October 11 with 10391 The Atlantis APS rumoured to launch on September 20 including 966 pieces for $110. Take all rumoured details with an appropriate level of caution as the reports may turn out to be false or partially inaccurate.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
