Time to save on LEGO Indiana Jones Temple of the Golden Idol

Pick up this discount on the largest LEGO Indiana Jones set on the market that’s just as good to display as to play with.

Amazon has slashed the price of LEGO Indiana Jones 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol to just £109.99, saving you £20 on the biggest set from last year’s wave. The 1,545-piece set revisits the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark in this 18+ set that’s just as good to play with as it looks on your shelf.

The sturdy black base and quote blocks might trick you into thinking 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol is to be built and left alone, but there’s plenty to do once the build is completed. Four different knobs across the front of the model activate the temple’s various traps in turn, from the rolling boulder to the collapsing walls, putting your minifigures through their paces.

Even if you prefer to keep your copy of 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol for display, it’s pretty easy to reset the various interactive elements. That means it’s also deceptively easy to get pulled into a bit of tinkering, making it the ideal desktop set for an adult LEGO Indiana Jones fan.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
