LEGO Harry Potter 76466 Philosopher's Stone Collectors' Edition is clearly designed for display, but also has some hidden play features.
76466 Philosopher's Stone Collectors' Edition is the ultimate brick-built tribute to the first movie in the Harry Potter franchise, featuring not only display-ready items from the film but also creative ways to interact with them. Three small knobs on the side of the set each put different functions into play, bringing the set to life.
The first makes the white queen chess piece move out from the front of the set, recreating the chilling moment where she takes down Ron as a black knight. Although the queen can't actually move towards the knight, a straight-on view of the set mimics the shot from the film.
The next knob makes Hedwig's head spin around, able to turn in a full 360-degree rotation. You can turn the knob either way, spinning the head back and forth.
Last but certainly not least, the third one pops the side of the trunk off, revealing another hidden microscale scene of the troll in the girls' bathroom. The element that actually knocks the side off is made to look like the troll's own club for a little bit of added realism.
The functions are all well thought out and help make 76466 Philosopher's Stone Collectors' Edition not only impressive to look at, but easy to interact with once the building is done. Check out our TikTok below to see all the functions in action.
