The latest LEGO Fortnite Icon series skin has been released, bringing Shaquille O’Neal back to the world of minifigures after over 20 years.
The former basketball player and current entertainer Shaquille O’Neal, also known as Shaq, has been added to Fortnite as two new outfits. You can pick them up individually or as part of a bundle featuring emotes and other cosmetics for 3,400 V-Bucks.
As expected, these two outfits have LEGO styles, depicting Shaq as two new LEGO minifigures. This isn’t the first time that Shaq has been depicted as a minifigure though.
In 2003 for the Sports theme, Shaq had a pair of LEGO minifigures with springs in their legs as part of a Basketball range. One of these minifigures even briefly appeared in The LEGO Movie. These new digital minifigures have no such springs in their legs but it’s still odd to see Shaq return to the world of LEGO, admittedly via Fortnite.

Don’t expect these minifigures to be physically available any time soon. Fortnite minifigures have so far remained almost entirely exclusive, save for some original outfits in 77073 Battle Bus.
You can pick up Shaq in Fortnite’s item shop now which also recently launched an online version to sync with your in-game account.
