Of the hundreds of LEGO sets released throughout 2024, there are a few that are worth highlighting now as some truly underrated builds.
While the likes of 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr and 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City and many other models were in the spotlight throughout 2024, some sets have likely flown under your radar including a few that were released within the last few months.
From LEGO Friends' least adventurous space set to a buildable droid that we've been waiting years for, here are some of the most underrated builds released throughout 2024, all of which are available now while 40701 Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene is available with purchases of £135 / $150 / €150 or more.
75381 Droideka may have fallen under your radar this year thanks to the likes of 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge, but this specific droid has been practically begging for an updated buildable figure. Even though the minifigure-sized Droideka might not be what we were expecting, the larger take on the iconic droid is functional and displayable – one not to miss from 2024.
LEGO City 60422 Seaside Harbor with Cargo Ship may not feature a massive cargo ship, but the exclusion of a huge hull element means that this can be one of the most complete harbour models ever released. With a beach, a restaurant, a cargo area and many other models to add to the scene, 60422 Seaside Harbor with Cargo Ship is a worthy addition to your LEGO coastline.
LEGO Fortnite 77070 Durrr Burger may not include any minifigures – despite being a perfect spot for Drift – but unlike 77073 Battle Bus, it is an affordable LEGO Fortnite set for a taste of the theme. Add to that some incredible building techniques in such a small package and this is a set not to miss and it's thankfully easy to fit into your budget.

Even without the multiple sales that 75374 The Onyx Cinder has been subject to, it's well worth your time despite being overshadowed in 2024.
LEGO Icons 10334 Retro Radio has similarly been overshadowed in 2024 by other LEGO Icons models but with its notably retro colour scheme and functions made available via the new sound brick, it may be worth keeping an eye on this model in the years to come.
