Fan recreates Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer in LEGO form

A talented fan animator has managed to create an amazing LEGO version of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer.

The first full trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer arrived back in December, with the animated project being just the first of two upcoming sequels based on the original hit movie. The action in the new film is set across the entire breadth of the Marvel multiverse and will feature multiple Spider-based characters and variants of many familiar comic book characters.

Now, one aspiring fan animator has taken up the mantle to recreate the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer – this time in LEGO form. Legome_TheOG has crafted a brick-based version of the footage seen in the original animated version, one that’s completely constructed from digital bricks and echoes the look and jerky movement style of a number of LEGO movies released by Warner Bros.

The fan-made Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer is an incredibly authentic interpretation of its source material, so much so that some viewers watching the LEGO footage might just mistake the new version for an official release.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to launch on big screens around the world from June 2, 2023. The follow-up, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is then scheduled to arrive on March 29, 2024.
