Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse released today in the USA

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the animated Marvel film, arrives in US cinemas today.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse brings an animated version of the Spidey character – well, several versions – to the big screen in the USA, with the film already released in the UK.

The movie sees Miles Morales balancing school life with web slinging, only to find that his reality is not the only one, and he is not even the only spider person. During the adventure, the various web-slingers will come together to defeat a reality-spanning threat while helping Miles learn a little more about himself.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the duo who directed The LEGO Movie and have worked on the screenplay for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Lord and Miller have co-written the screenplay for the new spidey film.
