Star Wars: Andor Season 2 trailer highlights LEGO set potential
The second season of Star Wars: Andor finally has a trailer, highlighting many vehicles that would make perfect LEGO Star Wars sets.
Ahead of its release starting on April 22, the second season of Andor now has a trailer, revealing many moments from the upcoming episodes and a few vehicles that are ideal for LEGO Star Wars sets.
You can watch the new trailer by clicking on the video above and be aware that we’re about to discuss some spoilers from the trailer.
Currently, there are a couple of LEGO Star Wars sets rumoured for Andor Season 2 – 75399 U-wing Fighter and 75434 K-2SO reported for May and August respectively. They’re both to be taken with caution for now but notably, only the latter is featured in the trailer. Should these rumours be true, there’s still plenty of set potential in the second season of Andor, but this is only speculation on our part.

Throughout the trailer, a new TIE Fighter is featured that looks similar to 9500 Sith Fury-class Interceptor, or an elongated TIE Interceptor. That ship fires upon a ground-based vehicle early in the trailer that would be the perfect build for a new battle pack. This ship was spotted in previous footage but now we’re getting a better look at other angles of the vessel.
As well as a pair of X-Wings, a modified YV-865 Aurore-class freighter is featured later in the trailer that would work for a larger model. Its box-like shape would lend itself well to the predominantly square nature of LEGO elements, though who it belongs to remains a mystery to our knowledge.

Also featured in the trailer is the return of Saw Gerrera, with an appearance matching that of the minifigure in 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator – just in case you needed another reason to catch up on the 25th-anniversary LEGO Star Wars set.

At the time of writing, no Andor Season 2 sets have been officially confirmed but the first season did receive the tie-in 75338 Ambush on Ferrix, complete with three exclusive minifigures. Hopefully, something is planned for the new season close to its release date of April 22.
