Star Wars Celebration 2023 kicks off today – how to watch the live stream

Star Wars Celebration 2023 kicks off in London today, promising news on the future of the saga, so here’s how to watch along at home.

Running from Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 at ExCel London, the annual Star Wars extravaganza begins today with the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase at 11am UK time. The panel will take place live on the Celebration Stage, and will also be streamed to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages. Unfortunately, it’s one we won’t be able to watch along at home, as the official Star Wars Celebration 2023 live stream doesn’t begin until 1pm.

That doesn’t mean everything in the room will be kept hush-hush, though, so stick around at Brick Fanatics this morning for all the latest updates from the show floor. We’re expecting updates on and sneak peeks at Star Wars: Ahsoka, along with – hopefully – confirmation of future Star Wars movies.

You’ll be able to tune into the live stream at either StarWars.com or the official Star Wars YouTube channel from 1pm UK time (or 5am PT). You can also hit play below for instant results.

Today’s panels also include a discussion with the folks who bring the Star Wars universe to life on-screen – production designer Kevin Jenkins, set decorator Lee Sandales, concept designer Jake Lunt Davies and costume designer Glyn Dillon – at 1pm, and at 3pm Star Wars: Andor creator Tony Gilroy and star Diego Luna will be chatting all things Season 1 of the hit Disney+ show.

The official live stream will feature ‘select panels’, which may or may not include either of the above, along with celebrity guests on the LIVE! stage. Based on last year’s live stream, expect plenty of big names to drop by for a chat.

If you’re attending the event in person, you’ll be able to get your hands on LEGO Star Wars 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes ahead of its release on May 1, and get an early peek of 75355 X-wing Starfighter in the flesh.

Keep an eye on Brick Fanatics – as well as our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds – for all the latest on Star Wars Celebration 2023 across the weekend.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
