According to a recent tweet by cast member Carl Weathers, Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently filming.
Weathers, who plays Greef Karga, the leader of the Bounty Hunters’ Guild, announced: “Mandalorian Season #3 begins for Yours Truly, on tomorrow.” He went on to say he would be returning to his role in the hit Star Wars TV series for the long-awaited third season: “Greef Karga will be back on Disney+. #BePeace”.
Season 2 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian premiered in October 2020, but the third season won’t arrive on Disney+ until late 2022. Instead, fans will get to watch Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett on December 29, with a number of LEGO sets apparently arriving to accompany the show. We’ve already reported on rumours of LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett’s Palace arriving in March 2022 and an as-yet-unnamed set to follow next June.
Following the nail-biting conclusion of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2, fans are eager to find out what happens to their favourite characters and the direction the third season will take.
