According to a recent tweet by cast member Carl Weathers, Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently filming.

Weathers, who plays Greef Karga, the leader of the Bounty Hunters’ Guild, announced: “Mandalorian Season #3 begins for Yours Truly, on tomorrow.” He went on to say he would be returning to his role in the hit Star Wars TV series for the long-awaited third season: “Greef Karga will be back on Disney+. #BePeace”.

Season 2 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian premiered in October 2020, but the third season won’t arrive on Disney+ until late 2022.
